Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as an Opener.
The hours would be 6:
30am -3:
30pm.
As an Opener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
This position requires you to be a reliable , positive, caring person who would like to join a great team.
Duties:
- Open the facility each morning and prepare it for the day ahead - Greet children and parents at the door with a warm and welcoming attitude - Conduct morning check-ins, including taking attendance and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed - Assist with morning routines, such as helping children with personal hygiene tasks - Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development - Provide guidance and support to children in managing their behavior - Ensure the safety of all children by closely monitoring their activities and maintaining a secure environment - Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere - Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or classroom settings is preferred - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's behavior - Ability to educate and engage children in age-appropriate activities - First aid certification is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment If you are passionate about working with children, have a strong understanding of childhood development, and possess the necessary qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
