You will be the primary point of contact for patients, and coordinating the schedule for the office.
This is a critical role for our office, and we are willing to train the right personality for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Register patients, collect necessary information, and verify insurance coverage - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information - Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with billing and insurance claims processing - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed - Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
Experience:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred, but not a requirement.
- Familiarity with office systems such as Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar software is a plus - Knowledge of patient service principles and practices - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality Job Type:
